Terms & Conditions.

All repairs undertaken by Rocket Refinishing are subject to our Terms & Conditions of Business.

Estimates

Estimates are based on damage visible or reasonably identifiable at the time of assessment and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Additional damage may become apparent during dismantling. We will seek authorisation before carrying out material additional chargeable work.

Insurance Repairs

Where an insurer is involved, authorisation from an insurer does not necessarily mean that every cost will be covered. Customers remain responsible for any applicable policy excess and any properly authorised amount not met by their insurer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Insurance Excess Contributions

On qualifying insurance repairs, Rocket Refinishing may agree to contribute towards some or all of a customer’s insurance excess. Eligibility and the amount of any contribution are determined individually and must be agreed before repairs commence. Contributions are not redeemable for cash and may be subject to additional conditions.

Payment

Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, full cleared payment is due on completion and before the vehicle is released.

Additional Work & Parts

If additional work or parts are found to be necessary during the repair, we will seek authorisation before carrying out material additional chargeable work.

Collection & Storage

Vehicles should be collected promptly once notification has been given that repairs are complete. Reasonable storage charges may apply where a vehicle is not collected following reasonable notice, provided the applicable charge has been communicated in advance.

Workmanship

Repairs will be carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects a consumer’s statutory rights.
